Intimate & Classy location for brunch! We got a breakfast pizza & (not your typical) Chicken & Waffles. Everything was delicious and the chicken was well flavored. Don't get spooked by the asian ginger. It was a savory surprise. They started out as a food truck and recently opened up their brunch menu ~2 months ago. Next up: trying their hanging bacon

Oh, I am just tickled to share my experience at Bake'n Bacon! Now, let me tell you, it's been a minute since I've felt this excited about a new spot, and they did not disappoint. I went with my brother Ryan for brunch this past weekend, and it was everything. The vibe? Imagine the warmth of the old Warmdaddy's, but with that classy, upscale touch like Soul Food Cafe or Ms. Tootsie's. The staff was a full-on 10 out of 10, from the warm welcome at the door to the attentive service at our table--it felt like being around friends, just having a good time. Now, the food--there were so many mouthwatering choices, but we stuck with the SMOKEHOUSE GRITS topped with bacon burnt ends and bacon crumble. Let me tell you... those grits were PERFECT. I don't usually take grits to-go, but I wrapped up those leftovers because I couldn't leave a single bite behind! The grits were creamy, the burnt ends tasted like somebody's Southern grandma was back there cooking with love, and those bacon crumbles? Better than sprinkles on an ice cream cone. And Ryan? He got the cornbread with honey--let me tell you, it was Sunday church cornbread at its absolute finest. The atmosphere was on point, every detail just right. It's even a great place to network; I ended up meeting a few local business owners, and I'll definitely be booking Bake'n Bacon's private hall for a family brunch soon. Would I go back? HECK YES. Should you check it out? YES, YOU SHOULD!

We came for their brunch but they stopped immediately at 2. They staff was really nice and let us order a drink. We went back for dinner. The lobster mac and cheese was excellent and so were the ribs. I could do with without the bacon appetizer overpriced and the bacon should be a thicker cut. The drinks were delicious. Would like to go back and try their breakfast. Jay our server was super helpful, nice, and accommodating.

Came to get an early desert and drink while giving out to some good 90's music. Service was pretty quick right from the door and we were seated and served right away. I loveeeee the Vibes here with the windows wide open and all that good breeze coming in. I tried the chocolate chip cake and asked the bartender to surprise me. They made me a terrific liquid situation to pair with my delicious dessert. Definitely enjoyed every bit. Parking wasn't that bad around there for that time as well!

We were greeted as soon as we entered and was escorted to our seats. The seating area was very comfortable. We ordered the hangin bacon with Thai chili sauce ( pieces of cornbread was under each piece of bacon and the cornbread caught the drippings of Thai chili sauce from the bacon). I ordered the salmon ( mashed potatoes. And asparagus) with a side of Mac n cheese. The salmon was cooked perfectly and seasoned well! The mac n cheese was nice and creamy. Our waiter was very attentive and got us to order the pound cake (with bacon infused caramel sauce ) for dessert by telling us it was one of the owners grandmothers recipes. We were sold immediately ! And the pound cake did not disappoint. We will definitely visit this restaurant again !

Finally made it to Bake'n Bacon... A friend had been raving about this spot. I wanted some cornbread and she said let's go so we went. Upon entry one of the servers and Justin of the owners greeted me at the door. I ate at the bar with my friend who was waiting. As she has been her quite often she knew the staff and introduced me to my new friends: Calvin the second owner, bartenders - Nish and Chrissy. I enjoyed the energy and the music playlist was a vibe...hit and hit. I normally dance when my food is good but I was jamming before the food arrived, and after it left. It was just good energy. I ordered the famous hanging bacon which hangs over cornbread. Delicious. The bacon is dipped in the sauce of your choice and it drops down onto your cornbread. I also ordered the brisket bacon burger. For some reason I didn't realize that a burger still came with the brisket and burger. Nevertheless, it was amazing. I asked for extra barbecue sauce on the side and I was in heaven...well good heaven. The burger comes with fries...I was not sold on the fries but the burger kept me company. I did have a taste of the pound cake. To me the pound cake was perfect without the Carmel bacon sauce. Kudos to the baker. I had a peach lemonade as my drink. Love when you can be creative with staple drinks. It also is my fancy as I'm not a drinker. Overall, the restaurant looked amazing I even got caught up in figuring out the logo. Kudos to Nish for asking Calvin and him being open in sharing the vision. The silverware was black. It gave a regal classy feel with black eating dishes as well. Bonus: I left the restaurant with my leftovers and ended up chatting with my friend and locals. After some time had passed, I had to use the bathroom. I went back to Baken Bacon...I know two times in one day. I must be stopped (lol). But the bathroom was just as classy. It was all black. The soap scent mixed with the climate was top notch. I enjoyed myself and would go again.

I went to dinner on a Thursday evening with my girlfriends and boy did we stumble upon a gem!! It's a Black owned establishment that did not disappoint!! The ambiance is very calm and the music was fitting for the environment. The place wasn't packed but definitely had a nice crowd. Now, the name is bake n bacon so of course you may assume that there are only bacon options. Nope! Their menu caters to many eating preferences! (Check out the pic of the menu). Our server was Richard who was very attentive, gave us suggestions and made sure that we had a great dining experience. Now, the food! 10/10! Everything was perfectly seasoned and flavorful. I had a small issue with my mussels but the food was so good it's not even worth mentioning! As you can see in the pictures the food did not disappoint! The entrees don't come with bacon, however, as Richard told us, you can add bacon to anything!! I left stuffed and happy. I'm telling everyone to tell somebody to tell somebody else to get to south Philly for these delicious eats!
